February 18, 1983, George T. Smyrnios was arrested for distribution
of CDS (cocaine) on the casino floor of the Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino
on January 12, 1982. On January 30, 1984, the respondent pled guilty
to distribution on CDs violation of N.J.S.A. 24:21-19(a) and (b)(1)
and consented the entry of his name on the exclusion list. On February
2, 1984, Judge Porecca sentenced the respondent to one year's probation,
one day in Jail (credited), $1,500 fine and $25 be paid to the Violent
Crimes Compensation Board. |
