On December 10, 1981, while at Harrah's Marina Hotel Casino, Christopher Gilmartin was observed capping and skimming his bets at the game of blackjack. On February 23, 1983, Christopher P. Gilmartin entered a plea of guilty to cheating and swindling at the game of blackjack, contrary to N.J.S.A. 5:12-113(b). In Municipal Court, Judge Consalvo imposed a $50 fine and ordered Mr. Gilmartin to pay court costs of $25. Accused also paid $25 to the Violent Crimes Commission.
